People have been asking me "So what are you going to do when you are in Korea?"
To be honest, I have no real concrete idea. This trip was not planned beforehand. It was sudden. It was impulsive but I had to do it!
I want to see 2AM in concert A LOT!
I want to go to Korea A LOT! (Been talking about it since 2009!)
I want to see Big Bang in a real performance!
I want to get Big Bang's autograph if they have a fan signing event!
I want to see IU!
I want to go to a sauna!
I want to go to Jeju via Pink Dolphin!
I want to go to Paldang Dam, maybe even rent a bicycle and do what the Adam Couple did!
I want to do so many things that I don't know where to start!
I want to just stay in Korea honestly. And if I see that this whole merchandising idea can really work out for the best, the next step I would consider is really moving to Korea and doing this while I enroll myself in a proper Korean Language Program to get my TOPIK, my translator's qualifications and work for Big Hit or YGEntertainment!
I'm looking at Running Man's episodes and picking out places that I want to go. So will update more once I'm through with the spree preparations.

Even as the 2AM merchandise spree is going on right now, the shopping experience does not end there. Because I'm actually going to Korea with the idea of sourcing out idol merchandise/ their local street fashion etc, I will actually post up interesting thing worth buying and if you want to get it, you can just email me with the order.
Some of the brands that I would be looking at:
1. Jambangee (mostly for 2AM jeans)
2. BANC (include in your email what is the item code as given on the website and a picture of the item. The price should be what is quoted online+S$20)
If there are other idol merchandise that you want to get, you can leave a comment on this blog and I will see what I can do. I have seen some Secret Garden and Dream High merchandise that I would like to get for myself. Let me post them here now. I'd let you know the price at a later date.

SOUL SOUL IN KOREA - D-13
I. Can't. WAIT!
I've been talking about wanting to visit Korea like since 2009. People around got tired of me TALKING about it and not actually going. But this trip took everyone by surprise, even took ME by surprise. Korea was not in the plans, at least NOT at this time. Life happens. So I'm going!
Words can't describe how I feel when I booked my air-ticket 2 days ago (my electronic ticket should be in my email inbox today).
I get butterflies thinking about being in Korea for 2 weeks!
I'm still at a loss what I would do in Korea but since I'm travelling alone, I CAN DO ANYTHING! ^^v
And yes! I would be seeing 2AM at their encore concert "The Last Time" in Seoul! Christina helped book the tickets so I'm definitely going to see the boys in concert again. The last time was last December when they came to Singapore for Mnet Ultimate Live in Singapore. But that's a COMBINED concert. This time round it's PURE 2AM GOODNESS!!
This trip is part business because I want to go and source for reliable retailers in Seoul and perhaps really run that blog shop I have been talking about too. Yes, suddenly I feel like all the pieces of my dreams, hopes and desires are just coming into place. It's always that first step of faith that is difficult but I have started. That's what counts.
So many things I want to do in Korea.
Anyway, I have started a 2AM merchandise spree. Click on the link to go to the IAM for 2AM - 2AM International Forum and check out what I have put up for sale.
Oh right! I almost forgot to mention.
I will be adding in other items into the spree as I roamed around Seoul and other parts of Korea. If you have a particular brand/item that you want, you can also leave a comment in the thread. So far I have intention of visiting:
1. Jambangee (2AM jeans anyone?)
2. BANC (
3. All the cosmetic brands (Tony Moly, Face Shop, It's Skin, etc etc)
Eventually I wish to be able to stay in Korea permanently, at least for a slightly prolonged period of time. I really want to study Korean language and become a translator.
So follow me on this blog as I count down towards my trip, share my anxiety and excitement, go on a virtual tour of Korea with me as I take pictures and write about the places I visited, the sights, the people, the air, etc.
I might have travelled alone but I'm sure with your company, I'd never be lonely.
